The Europe-China School of Public Health (ECSPH), formerly known as the Franco-Chinese Institute for Health (Institut Franco-Chinois pour la Santé, IFCS), is a non-profit think tank with the status of an association under the French law of 1901.
It was voluntarily established and registered by Franco-Chinese health administrators. The aim of the Franco-Chinese Institute for Health was to strengthen academic ties between health policymakers in France and China by facilitating academic exchanges, coordination, and the organization of continuing education and training, as well as to promote friendly interactions and cooperation between medical institutions in the two countries.
To better promote exchanges between China and Europe, the institute was officially registered as the Europe-China School of Public Health in March 2020.
Since 2025, ECSPH has been operating as part of the Medi-Bridges EurAsie platform, a Switzerland-based international organization dedicated to strengthening collaboration in healthcare, medical research, and public health between Europe and Asia. Through this integration, ECSPH contributes to a broader network connecting universities, hospitals, public health institutions, researchers, and policymakers across both regions.
The historical registered address of ECSPH remains: 3 Square Desaix, Paris, France.
